Roll!

I know, I know... kids shouldn't sleep on their tummy... but he sleeps on his tummy. So, surprise, surprise... when I went to get him out of bed--he wasn't on his tummy. He was silly with smiling too. So, no one has seen it yet... but the kid must have rolled! I tried to get him to do it again... but he just pushed up pretty far on his arms and shot me a pretty funny look.

Thursday at Nana and Papa's

For the last 4 Thursdays, Lauren has had a Zoo Kids class at the Columbus Zoo (redesigned new website). It's a 3-hour drop-off class, so Trevor and I go to Nana and Papa's while she's there. This was the last week of the class. Lauren loved it, maybe we'll sign up for another session. Here are some random pictures and a video from this Thursday.

This video is too funny. Trevor's starting to take some direction and play simple games. i.e. he's turning into a real person. (everybody knows infants aren't really people, they're alien pod creatures)

Papa and grandson share a moment on the couch.

My little Buckeye!

Lauren started losing teeth today! Which is a true statement when you replace "losing teeth" with "putting raisins on her teeth to trick her people". I tell ya, she's a funny kid.

Storytime at the library

Lauren listens while baby brother gets lunch. This is my first attempt at posting from my cellphone.

Round and around she goes!

Trevor loves this blinky light thing... and it spins around. Oh does it spin. By far his favorite toy. And, yes. I trimmed his bangs. And, no. I did not keep the hair.

Lauren max relaxes

I gave Lauren a CD Walkman that I had bought 10 years ago when Beth and I drove around the country. (10? really? geez...) She listened to some kid songs and read a book, looking very hip. She's a funny kid.

Snuggle sibs

Lauren Triplepost

Lauren loves this little workbench. Anybody got any extra Fisher Price nails? We only have 2...

Lauren started swim class at the YMCA today. Only 2 kids in class makes for quality swim teacher time...

The piggybank was tallied to the tune of $31.16. I'm pretty sure I didn't possess $31 until I was at least 12 years old!

flower power

Lauren has been wanting to plant daisies for days... so we finally set out on our spring planting. Shasta Daisy's and Marigolds are in. The Marigolds are already sprouting. Now, hopefully these little starts won't join my dead plant collection on the back porch. Really, I used to be good at this. But, ever since growing little people, my plant skills have diminished dramatically. It's spring though, so there's new hope for the little sprouts.

Patrick and Lauren are hunting for the elusive drool-baby... oh, wait... I think they've found him. Quick, grab a kleenex.

What is this?

There I was, minding my own business while Daddy and Lauren were eating their lunch. Daddy smiled and said some "words", then pushed something into my mouth. Hooray, it must be milkie time! I loves me some milkie. Wait, what? What is this thing? It's... it's... delicious! OMG LOL This is the best day of my life.

My Daddy Rocks

I love Daddy. And I love the songs that he rocks/plays. And I really really hug him a lot. But most of all, I love him.
