One of the perks of being in the Jacket backers is that they arranged a skate for the members on the main ice of Nationwide Arena. It was the first time Trevor has been on skates, as well as the first time he's been to the arena. Lauren and I brought our hockey sticks and played some "pass the puck". Her end of the bargain included hanging on to the wall with one hand and swinging the stick towards the puck with the other, but it was a good start. And, contrary to appearances, she really did enjoy being in the penalty box!
